Federer vs Tsonga, Roger`s Cup or Jo-Wilfried`s cup?

Federer Tsonga MontrealThe Federer-Tsonga match is just about to start. It is gonna be an interesting match I think, according to the latest happenings with those two on Wimbledon, where Tsonga defeated Federer. Before Montreal Tsonga was relaxing a little bit, he only played on the Davis Cup, where he won Philipp Kohlschreiber. Federer on the other side , just turned 30, but he is still optimistic about his profession, announcing that he will continue to play tennis for the next 3 or 4 years. The match began with a great backhand return from Tsonga. Federer returned with four amazing serves, two of which were aces. The second game is followed by a very aggressive game from  Federer. Tsonga is not considering to play on Federer`s forehand side, because every forehand return seems like a projectile on the other side. However, Tsonga won the second game, and the result now is 1:1. The next two games did not have any particular excitement, so they both goth one game, but in the next game Federer showed a little more aggressive tactic, so he won the fifth game, the result is 3:2. The 6-th game started with unforced errors from both players, but Tsonga managed do save the result with great service and then a forehand return. He seems very comfortable in this match, maybe because of the victory over Federer on Wimbledon.  He equaled the result, 3:3 it is, and the next game continues with equal result. Federer is on serve and he did no manage to return the passing shot from Tsonga, which resulted in game for him. But, karma is a bitch 🙂 so, Federer was not very merciful with Jo-Wilfried in the 7th game. He continues this tactic in the next game, it smells like break. Roger is having his second break point in this match, but he lost it, so, here we go, 4:4. This new game, started with an interesting volley point, but after that,  a great forehand return from Tsonga. But Federer does not give up. With a little luck, he won this game. Tsonga is serving to even the result, and he managed to win this game thanks to the wasted chances that Federer had. This tournament is surprisingly interesting, every match till now had an amazing turn of events. I don`t know what to say about this one, because Tsonga was the last to win a match with Federer, so, we will just enjoy the rest of it. Whoever wins this match, tomorrow will play against Almagro or Gasquet . The match continues with a result 6:5 for Federer, and now Tsonga is serving to save this game. But Federer just win his first set point but he loses it very quickly. Ace from Tsonga, and advantage for him. He also does not succeeded in his attempt to win this game, so the result is deuce again.Federer Tsonga A phenomenal shot from Tsonga saves this game, and the tie break will decide for the first set.Tsonga just made a mini break. Federer is making an unforced error , so he has to be careful in this next point, but he is losing this one too. But even thoug it is 3:0 in the tie break, Federer just had an amazing serve, you know that kind of serve where he is under pressure. But even though he won this point, Tsonga was very careful taking the next two points. The tie break continues with 6:3 for Tsonga, and it is set point for Tsonga, which he wins. Federer was not very “present” in this point, that is why he lost the first set. The second set started with not very smart selection of points from Tsonga. Yet, he manages to win this game. Federer is not showing his disappointment, but he did miss a lot of chances. The result is 1:1, and Federer is having 3 break points. Tsonga requested challange, but no, a little out it is and Federer won this game. During the fourth game of this set, Tsonga had a lot of chances, but Federer was very confident about his game. He is a kind of a tennis player, when he makes a break, he does not think how he will take the other game, but he is satisfied with the one he just took. The result is 3:2 for Federer…  And what an amazing start of the 8th game. Federer managed to save 3 passing shots.  After that, amazing backhand volley, a kind of volley that only Federer can return. He saves his game, but loses the next one, with an interesting point. Both players are giving the best from themselves, but this set belongs to Federer. Spectacular game indeed. Now before the beginning of the third set, here is a little fact that maybe some of you are familiar with. Back in 2009 in Montreal, when Tsonga defeated Federer, he was losing the third set with a result of 5:1. So, we are expecting an exciting third set. It began with 1:0 for Tsonga, and Federer is on serve now, making a double fault. The second set was also won by Tsonga. He is playing really good, but Federer is not, he is making a lot of  unforced errors. And again, Federer lost this game too, with a weird forehand, untypical for him, This year, his forehand is not very popular. The result is 3:0 for Tsonga. And WOW. What an amazing 4th game. I do not have any more words to describe this game. It seems like Federer does not have any more strength, because Tsonga is on fire, he acts like this is the beginning of the match. And, without any lost point in the fifth game, Tsonga manages to win this one too…  5:1, Federer won the game on his serve. But after nearly 2 hours, Tsonga won this match with 6:1 in the final set. Well, good luck in the quarter final with Almagro. Too shame for Federer though, now he will keep Nadal company.:)
