Today, Marcel Granollers won the Swiss Open in Gstaad. He managed to win over Fernando Verdasco in amazing three sets, 6-4,3-6,6-3. After Wimbledon, Granollers have had constant pains in his arm, so after that, he haven`t had any training at all. On Sunday he came at Gstaad, rested and ready to play, and amazingly he won the tournament. We noticed an improvement in his first serve which was one of the key factors that affected his game and his confidence during the game. The match wasn`t easy at all, because Verdasco is an amazing player. Although he is ranked better than Granollers, Verdasco did not win a tournament this year. Last time Granollers won an ATP tournament was back in 2008 in Houston. Congratulations on the new Swiss Open champion.
